1. Go to http://callback.sipagate.com 2. Login with your DialOutGlobal username and password
3. Enter your number as ‘source phone’
4. Enter the number you want to call as ‘destination phone’
5. Click ‘connect’
The first phone will ring and should be answered. The second call will then be initiated (there will be silence on the caller’s side whilst the second call is being established. This is normal). Both parties should hang up the phone to terminate each call. Remember that each call is billed separately.
Within a few seconds of the call being initiated, the web page will refresh, allowing you to place further calls from the website. The account stays logged in until you click 'exit' so if using a public computer, remember to logout before you walk away!
The ‘call history’ shows details of all calls made from that account, whether made from a device, dialer or callback
SMS Callback Instructions
You can start a callback phone call by sending an SMS (text) to our network from your mobile phone. The number to send the SMS to is +447796 798696 Basically you send a message containing your username and password followed by the 2 numbers you want to be dialed - usually your own number and the number of the person you want to talk to.
This basic format is used as follows:
username password 004412345678 004498765432
004412345678 - should be replaced by the number you want to originate the call
004498765432 - should be replaced by the number you want to call to
Once your SMS is received on our network your username and password are validated and if cleared the 2 calls are made - one to each of the numbers you specified.
When both calls are answered you will be connected and able to talk.
Again, please note that you will be charged for each call individually regardless of whether the other call is answered or not.
Shorter formats - Associating your mobile phone number
To shorten the SMS message you need to send you can associate a mobile number with an account so your account is automatically recognized when an SMS is received by our server.
It can be configured by going to http://callback.sipagate.com/ and clicking on the 'SMS callback settings' option.
Once you have logged in to the SMS callback settings page you can enter your mobile number into the box and click on the button marked 'Authorize'.
When this is completed you can use the following short formats:
004412345678 004498765432
this option will recognize your mobile number and authorize you and then will dial and connect the 2 specified numbers
or
004498765432
with this option you do not need to include your username or password as it will recognize your number and validate you that way.
The above option will use your mobile number as the origination number.
